Thanks for the Memory.

Here we are sitting watching The Olympics in the middle of the night and I can't help but go back to when I was little and getting up in the middle of the night with Mum and Dad to listen to the Olympics on the radio, the excitement of being up really late wrapped in warm jerseys over our Pj's, eating toast and drinking tea and listening to the excited commentator describe the wonderful successes of Murray Halberg and Peter Snell.
My Dad was really into the athletics and was so enthusiastic you couldn't help but be caught up in it all.
Anyway tonight it's been all about the rowing, wow we are doing so well.
