Well it's been a fairly stressful month, I've been sick and I've seen more than enough of doctors and hospitals, so I've decided I need to get back to what keeps me happy and that's being crafty, so I'm going to start making my cards again and try to sell them on Trademe.
I know I decided to try this before but I've been talking to my sister and she's made a few suggestions, so I'm going to give it a go again, only this time I realise you have to keep at it so here I go.
I will start adding some Christmas cards soon but right now check out my current listings, also if you have any requests I'm more than happy to hear any suggestions.
I'm not really bothered about making a profit I just want a reason to keep making my cards because it's something that I love and it keeps me busy.
So thanks for listening and I'm pleased to be back.

1st of August.
I seriously cannot believe it's the 1st of August already, this year has gone so incredibly fast it's got my head spinning.
Anyway this post is a request for help!!!
As you know if you read my blog I absolutely love making my Tilda cards, it's my stress relief and my happy place, but there is a limit to how many I can send to people so I'd really like to sell them. I have tried a couple of ideas, I approached a couple of florists with no success and I tried Trademe but that didn't work either. So I'm looking for suggestions, I'd be happy to donate them to an organisation who could sell them for their own benefit but I just need a reason to keep making them.
So all you creative people out there in Blogland I'm keen to hear your opinions.
So if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them, I will send a pack of four cards to the person with the best suggestion.
Thanks heaps.

News Flash...
Well I have finally decided to try selling my cards on-line. I love making them and sending them to family and friends of course, but I really want another reason to be able to keep making them so I have created a page on Facebook with a view to selling them. I have listed a couple on Facebook to "test the water" and will be interested to see how they go.
We don't have any actual craft shops here in Dunedin so I decided this was the way to go.
If anyone has any other suggestions I will be happy to here them.
Anyway I hope everyone is having a great weekend and I'm off to pack for Scrap Sunday.

Baking Tilda
I love this little stamp, "Tilda with Heart cookies, I tried to go with the brown and pink because these colours for me always suggest baking, I don't know why, but I see these colours and I see cake lol!
Lots of Nesties, and Cuttlebug dies on this one. I coloured Tilda with water-colour pencils and of course I used Stickles and added a little gauze here and there.
I'm really tired tonight but I want to go and make another before bed, so ciao!

Another Card Challenge...
I just love searching the net looking at all the beautiful crafts people do, and of course since my addiction is paper I spend a lot of time looking at Scrapping and latterly card making, especially anything involving Magnolia stamps. I have now discovered all the amazing challeges people take part in and found this is a fantastic way to make me actually get off my butt and MAKE stuff. I have made four cards over the weekend as well as working two days starting at 6.30am!!! So yes the motivation is high at the moment and I'm lovin' it.
So this morning I have a card that I made last night for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday, it had to involve sparkle....and hey I love my bling so this is what I came up with.
Thanks for stopping by and I'd love to hear what you think.
Have a great Monday.
PS. I've used Sparkle paper, Nestabilities, Prima flowers, Magnolia die, paper doiley, and Stickles Diamond.
Tilda is coloured with water colour pencils, and sparkle paints.

A new Addiction....
and yes it's legal lol! I've become very keen to entering cards in challenges, I have decided it's a great way to make me think outside the square and out of my comfort zone. So with that said the latest one is a challenge over at The Official Magnolia Inspiration blog , and talk of out of my comfort zone, this challenge involved YELLOW!!!! I never work with yellow, but I decided to have a go and my wonderful friend came up with the idea of Autumn, which of course it is here in New Zealand, well it's really winter but the colours are still golden and brown, so with that inspiration in my head and her fab idea of Autumn leaves, this was the result. I'm really thrilled with it and am not having pink withdrawals at all, might be the start of a new phase. :)
Thanks for looking.
I used Nestabilities to cut the background for Tilda, the leaves are punched and inked, the flowers are punched, inked and molded with a ball tool and the net sprayed with Glimmer mist. I have coloured Tilda with Distress inks and water colour pencils.
Just a wee bit chuffed I must say.
PS This is the sketch I had to follow,

Tilda Challenge.
I have been doing my usual and browsing blogs that feature Magnolia stamps, and I found this challenge on http://magnoliastamplovers.blogspot.co.nz/ and decided to get brave and enter a card. I was going to upload the one I made last night but when I was going through the ones I've made I'm undecided which one to enter lol! However I have to make a decision soooo I'm going to enter this one.
I love this stamp, pretty sure it's called "Tilda wants a hug"! I have used Prima flowers and also Handmade ones, the key, heart and padlock were cut on the Cricut and "Cuttlebugged and embossed. The decorative corner is Spellbinders. I have coloured Tilda with Tim Holtz Distress inks. There are also pearls as well as Perfect Pearls on here. Have also used various papers and muslin.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Some of the latest...
Magnolia cards, I do have other stamps but right now I just can't go past these little sweeties. Plus these are the new ones I got for Christmas so excited to finally get to play with them.
I have used various papers, Spellbinders Nestie Dies, Cuttlebug embossing, Cricut diecuts, and gallons of Stickels and Perfect Pearls.
To say I'm unashamedly chuffed about the way they turned out would be an understatement. :)

How cute is this little girl?
I just love the pose of this little Tilda. I was inspired by the latest Magnolia magazine to make this card and I'm really happy with it.
So many layers but a great effect when it's finished.
I painted her with the Tim Holtz Distress pads, I just smear a little on a tile and use a water brush to paint with. Sometimes I use the refill bottles, I think these are best cos you can just drop a little onto the tile.
I have become very influenced by what I see done in the Magnolia Magazine. the European ladies do such gorgeous work, lots of lace and flowers etc etc. I used the Cheery Lynn Designs Holly branch die behind my flowers, I love this wee die as a base. The lace punch is Martha Stewart and the little sentiment pendant is Spell-binders. I have recently discovered Perfect Pearls and can now see how fabulous they are to add that little something. The butterfly's are assorted punches I've had forever.
Anyway I had some new magnolia stamps arrive yesterday so I'm planning on playing with them today before I go to work.....and then two days off Yah! There will be time to play I hope!

I got my new Magnolia magazine the other day and it totally inspired me again, and I'm lovin being back to the chaos that is my work room, happy chaos of course. This card I copied from the Magnolia mag, and I have to say I'm thrilled with it. LOVE that cat die, can see I'm going to use it a lot.
Anyway must run, got another one in the go.

Magnolia's Back!
Been very excited this weekend, I've found my focus again and have been very busy in my workroom.
I was very happy as this card came together, I love these papers, they are from the Scrap Cake pad I got at Artful Crafts on our recent visit up there. Also the doiley die is amazing, using it all the time.
I've got my next one on the table ready to put together.
Couldn't sleep last night with all the ideas racing around my head...glad I don't have to go to work tonight lol.
