Well two days out from Scrapcamp and I'm still buzzing, not mentioning that I'm exhausted, but then 4 days with not much sleep will do that to you lol!
However just wanted to share this layout I did a couple of weeks ago playing with texture paste and a Glimmer mask, it's very pink and white but I love it. It features my sister and niece so that makes it even more special.
I really want to play this afternoon, but the afternoon is drifting by and I don't seem to have the energy to get started.....maybe another coffee will help.

Waiting to go to Work.

Isn't it crazy when you are waiting to go somewhere and you know you've got time to do something but you're scared to start unless you forget the time? That's where I'm at right now, don't go to work till 5 today and since I came back from taking the girls to work I feel like I'm filling in time, really want to get back to that Exploding Box album I'm working on but scared I'll forget the time. However I've updated my Blog List to the new wizz bang version that Blogger have come with, it shows when blogs I visit have been updated so it's kinda cool.
Anyway the other thing that's really cool is that I've discovered that you can "re- sticky" you're Cricut mats, ah yes that's right it really works. Spray your tired mat with a good quality re-position-able adhesive, let it dry and voila you've got a brand new mat. I tried it over the weekend and it really works. The last pack of mats I bought hardly stuck at all causing much frustration but now they hold real good.
Also played in Design Studio ( yes it's working again) and Faye designed a butterfly border using the butterfly from Indie Art, it turned out gorgeous so keen to try some more, funny how you don't really appreciate something until it won't work eh?
I used the Butterfly border on the cover of the book I'm doing on just every day moments that are special, trying to do a page a day but that's not working so it might be a page a week. LOL.
Anyway did this page on Monday after planting a rose in a pot on the deck, really excited about having my deck garden again.
But now it's time to run.... new I'd forget the time....outta here.

A New Week

Wow I'm over this wind! It's been blowing for days and I hate it, where did our beautiful summer go? Well finally it's gotten busy at work, the last few days have been totally full on so I was really looking forward to yesterday to kick back and play. Finished a layout for ScrapboxNZ's Febuary Challenge, I had a ball doing this one. Of course used Prima papers, can't get past them at the moment, but I got to use my new stamps by Iron Orchid Designs, once again by Prima. They are so much fun, definitely hooked now.
Looking forward to today (my day off), so more ideas to try wahoo!.....that's after the boring stuff like washing, vacuuming etc etc.

No.2

Another one in the series, not sure where this series idea comes from cos anyone who knows me knows I hate to do the same thing twice, but for some reason I did these ones "production line" style.
Have this idea I'd like to get enough done to perhaps have a stall at the local market before Christmas. I think I'm missing doing the markets we did for so many years when Faye and I were doing the painted folk art pieces for our little business called Calico Corner. They were fun times and it's sad that life got in the way of art! However I'm rambling, once again I've used the Cuttlebug and inked the pieces. The little flowers were cut on the Cuttlebug as well. Used IceStickles in the centre of the flowers.
