Another Pic from Paradise.

Another photo taken from Kaka Point. I so loved Sunday, the weather was awesome and it just seemed a dream ride.
Being with my two best friends is always cool but somehow it just seemed better, so relaxed and the day just went on forever. Can't wait for another day like that, it's hard to organise though with us all working shift work, still with a bit of planning LOL.
Anyway back to work tonight, so not looking forward to that, counting down the days now so that's something.

Must finish my exploding box I started, sort of redesigning the lid but I think it will work. Nothing like "making it your own" eh?
Anyway better go get organised.

Another look

Now in the daylight I know exactly what I was trying to do with that Kaka Point layout, I got half way there and then lost my original thought pattern, I will have to revisit it and fix it cos otherwise it'll bug me.
However, it's done and once again I have proved to myself that Procrastination doesn't Pay.! You'd think I'd know that by now but no no I still do it.
Back to work tonight, not looking forward to it cos it'll be really quiet. It's still a holiday here so no-one will be thinking about dining out, and the tourists have nearly all gone. However only another couple of weeks to go till I start my new challenge, really looking forward to it.
Now then I'm going to put the washing on and drift over to that layout on my table.....

Scrap Challenge Layout

Phew! I know I'm late...but that's what happens when you change your mind at the last minute. And I mean the last minute, thank heavens Faye came home and pushed in the right direction.
Anyway it's done, didn't like it but it's growing on me LOL.

Wahoo! I've had 1000 people visit my blog, this is so cool. I love that the world of Blogging makes the world a much smaller place and it's so easy to share ideas, opinions etc with people around the world as easy as opening your computer. Without the internet I probably never would have discovered Scrap booking, and certainly wouldn't have seen so many amazing pages, ideas etc etc.
I can still remember back in 2002, while searching for Rubber Stamp ideas I found some scrap layouts and nearly went nuts, couldn't stay away from them for days. We couldn't get any scrappy stuff here in NZ at all, so I improvised, and oh boy were some of those early layouts terrible, the combination of lack of supplies and the effects of being on very nasty Leukemia medication, made for some very horrible disasters, but I persevered and now have more supplies than I can ever hope to use LOL.
Anyway must go and complete a layout for a challenge I signed on for, it's due by midnight tonight..... I know those that know me a muttering about "procrastinating", but not really just warming up.
Yesterday was such an awesome day I'm going to use this photo I took at Kaka Point, on the track to the lighthouse. It was so awesome being on that track, because I have a real fear of heights and for some reason I just felt so peaceful it was wonderful.
I'm lucky to have such great friends that make me want to try harder to conquer my fears, especially if it's something I know they love to do.
Anyway back to the layout.

An Awesome Day

What an awesome day... can it really be March? We drove to Kaka Point and then onto to Nugget Point then June and I walked the track to the Lighthouse, Whoa was that amazing or what? On the side of a cliff looking down into the water where the seals were playing in the sun.
Afterwards back to Kaka Point for the biggest ice-cream in the world and then slowly back home, stopping at all the beaches along the way. It was just the most perfect day, so warm and bright, just amazing.
I really feel like I've had a mini holiday, can't wait for the camera batteries to charge so that I can upload the photos, they should be amazing.
I think I have the perfect one to scrap for the Easter Challenge that I've signed up for.
However that is all to be doing tomorrow now it's time to sleep, and dream about my perfect day.
